In Indiana, a passenger car's bumpers must stay within 3 in of their original height. On trucks up to 11,000 lb, the front and rear bumpers can be no more than 30 in from the ground to the bottom of the bumper. (Ind. Code 9-19-4-1 & 9-19-4-2.)
