Michigan caps frame and bumper height by weight class. Passenger cars: 12 in frame / 22 in bumper. Trucks: 24 in / 26 in up to 4,500 lb; 24 in / 28 in for 4,501-7,500 lb; 26 in / 30 in for 7,501-10,000 lb. Lift blocks are also limited. (MCL 257.710c.)
