Prohibited — all gambling, including sports betting, is illegal. The Utah Constitution bars the legislature from authorizing any game of chance, and statute mandates opting out of any federal online-gambling framework. Participating in gambling (including online gambling) is a class B misdemeanor; class A on a repeat offense (Utah Code 76-9-1402).
