Knives
Permitted
Colorado statewide rule
Switchblades and gravity knives are legal — removed from the prohibited-weapon list by SB 17-008 (2017). Under C.R.S. 18-12-102 only a ballistic knife remains a 'dangerous weapon,' and blackjacks, gas guns and metallic knuckles remain 'illegal weapons' — switchblades and gravity knives are no longer listed.
