Idaho has no legal cannabis market and no dispensaries. Manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver is a felony punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and a $15,000 fine (Idaho Code 37-2732(a)(1)(B)); marijuana is Schedule I under 37-2705(d)(19). A decriminalization initiative is circulating for signatures but has not qualified for the ballot.

In Montana you may buy cannabis only from licensed dispensaries in "green" counties, meaning the counties that approved I-190; "red" counties prohibit adult-use sales. ID is required, and a 20% tax applies.
