Catfish (blue/channel/flathead) fishing rules in LA

Blue catfish, channel catfish, and flathead catfish in Louisiana each have no minimum size limit and no statewide daily bag limit on most public waters. However, blue catfish are subject to a 75-fish combined bag limit with channel catfish per day on all Louisiana public waters. Flathead catfish have no separate daily limit and are included in the 75-fish combined with channel and blue catfish. Bullhead catfish are unlimited. A freshwater fishing license is required.
