Crappie fishing rules in IL

Illinois has no statewide harvest or size limit on white, black, or hybrid crappie. Site-specific regulations at many managed lakes impose daily limits (commonly 10–25 fish) and/or minimum length limits (often 9–10 inches). If a water is not listed in the site-specific section, no limit applies. Possession limit equals the daily harvest limit.
